Dr Josep obtained his veterinary degree from University CEU Cardenal Herrera (Valencia, Spain). He received neurology and neurosurgery training in the UK, at the University of Glasgow School of Veterinary Medicine, where he spent 4-years.
In 2018, Dr Josep passed the European College of Veterinary Neurology examinations and was awarded the European Diploma, becoming a European Specialist. The following year, he was awarded a Masters of Veterinary Medicine for his thesis on congenital vertebral malformations in dogs.
Dr Josep has trained multiple neurologist back in the UK. He has contributed to veterinary literature with more than 20 pre-revied articles on international scientific journals and lecturing at congresses. He has also been a reviewer of international publications and a member of the scientific committee of the British Veterinary neurology association (BVNS).
Dr Josep is passionate about teaching and is interested in all areas of veterinary neurology (imaging, medical and surgical neurology). He enjoys both, simple and complex spinal and brain surgeries. Dr Josep loves all pets and during his spare time likes hiking and travelling.
