Dr. Ferran graduated from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, Spain in 2011 and went on to complete two rotating internships at Anicura Ars Veterinaria and Animal Health Trust, where he gained his passion for Internal Medicine. In 2015, he started his residency at Dick White Referrals in the United Kingdom, and became a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in 2019. After two years on the senior clinician team and serving as the internship director at the same hospital, he became head of service. In summer 2023, Dr. Ferran started his new adventure of setting a mobile company providing internal medicine consultations, procedures and continuous education. He has published multiple articles in peer- reviewed journals and is an Associate Professor at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
Dr. Ferran is a strong advocate of mental health and keen on finding ways to improve the work environment in veterinary medicine. He is an ambassador for the OHANA charity, which aims to improve animal welfare. In his spare time, he enjoys playing football, reading, eating and Lego!
